The Technology Blues
I'm in such a lot of bother 'cause my lawn mower won't hover
And my vacuum doesn't clean rooms like it's meant to do
Why do things that are electric make my day more stressed and hectic?
The computer has exploded though it is brand new
I've got a case of the technology blues
My washing machine died yesterday
My microwave misbehaves
Every one of my bedroom lights flicker
If I read the help instructions then my brain no longer functions
It's much easier untying knotted knickers
Two knobs fell off my radio
The hot steam iron burnt my toe
My GPS won't talk but now is singing
My DVD player broke and made my hair go greyer
And my watch alarm is stuck on ringing, ringing
Ringing, ringing
Ringing, ringing...
My calculator won't divide
My fridge freezer is warm inside
My pop up toaster doesn't brown the toast
My iPod has croaked
My iPad pours smoke
And my iPhone has given up the ghost
My automatic toothbrush stopped revolving and went bust
While my TV only tunes to Channel 5
Why are items technological confusing and illogical
And complicate not simplify our lives?
I'm in such a lot of bother 'cause my lawn mower won't hover
And my vacuum doesn't clean rooms like it's meant to do
Why do things that are electric make my day more stressed and hectic?
The computer has exploded though it is brand new
I've got a case of the technology blues
