Neal has been running workshops for us over the last six years. He has worked with groups of KS3 and KS4 pupils referred for weak motivation, low confidence, poor behaviour, social communication or other needs. He has engaged and motivated every group and the outcome has always been a booklet of poetry they are extremely proud of.

A HUGE thank you for a wonderful day! The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we all loved it. Thank you for taking the time to come and see us - I’m glad you’re fully booked up, you certainly deserve to be. I’m sure the [KS2] girls are inspired to get writing poetry and I will do my utmost to sell some of your books!

That was absolutely superb – thank you so very much for your time! The boys loved it and lots of them want to rush home and buy your books this evening! Really child-friendly and engaging. A great range of fun poems and we now have some useful tips we will certainly be using in our poetry writing next week.

Neal visited our school on World Book Day. The children thoroughly enjoyed the poetry workshops and were inspired to write some very creative poems that they loved sharing with the rest of the school. Teachers remarked on how motivating Neal was to get them enjoying their writing.

The children were highly motivated and wrote some very creative poems, they were inspired by Neal’s workshops. Positive feedback was received by parents too and the children are still writing their own poems at home and they are eager to perform these to their classes.

Your approach to poetry is amazing. You have made this kind of literature interesting and I have no doubt that a variety of age groups will have fun with your interactive activities.
