I'm waiting for the bus
Although I'm in a rush
Today's being spent
Stuck like cement
Waiting for the bus

I'm feeling very stressed
Annoyed and quite depressed
I feel my nose 'n
Toes have frozen
Waiting for the bus

I'm growing old and grey
Time slowly ticks away
Moaning, snoring
Very boring
Waiting for the bus

It's number 32
The bus for which I queue
I've stood for hours
Sprung roots like flowers
Waiting for the bus

I'm now extremely late
And in an angry state
Complaining
Great - it's raining!
Waiting for the bus

Perhaps to get ahead
I'll go by train instead
The thing to do?
Catch that choo-choo
Waiting for the train
